The goal was to build a LinkedIn Ads campaign for Pontus Pack’s packaging solutions, especially highlighting VCI2000 anti-corrosion packaging. Pontus Pack is a global player in the market, used and trusted by OEMs for industrial-grade protection. They wanted to increase their leads and attract clients from automotive, aerospace and heavy engineering industries. Earlier, they had build an offline network but had low digital presence in the market.

Challenges

  • Limited Digital Awareness & Outreach:

    Pontus Pack was trusted by big names like Ford, GM and Caterpillar. Despite these clients, the brand had minimal brand visibility among mid-market OEMs and suppliers who were looking for engineered packaging solutions online. 

  • Lack of Visual Differentiation in a Technical Category:

    The market had other competitors with the rust-prevention messaging. Pontus pack needed sharper, more direct copy and creative to stand out and emotionally resonate with component suppliers. 

  • High Friction in Demo Generation:

    The aim was to make the buyers and suppliers understand cost savings, climate performance, and outcome of VCI2000 and other Pontus Pack products more clearly to take action.

Solution Approach

To address the challenges, we implemented a full-funnel LinkedIn Ads strategy to capture the attention of manufacturer and supplier decision-makers, specifically to push them towards a low-friction demo CTA.
Visual-First Messaging
Used high-contrast image creatives to compare rust-damaged parts with Pontus-protected parts. Worked with different positioning angles and high-end creatives to focus on the visual message (about how corrosion looks like and how much it would cost them).
Product-Led Angles With Industry Context
Tested different pain points and focus metrics for best results:
  1. "Lose a 1 Cr+ deal over one rusty screw" → for auto OEMs
  2. "Your packaging choices today poison their tomorrow" → for ESG-aware manufacturers
  3. "Stop sending rust-damaged parts" → for export and supply chain managers
Campaign Segmentation by Industry Use Case:
Ad sets were created targeting different products, including VCI film, poly firm, shrink film, wooden pallet, EPE Foam partition, and corrugated boxes, so that all pain points, including volumetric packaging, rust, climate, packaging spent were covered.

By positioning Pontus VCI2000 as a reliable, industry-tested solution for any industry-grade component, and engineered packaging associated, we were able to drive a high-impact, visually compelling ad campaign. Pontus Pack now has a digital presence and high lead rate with creative clarity and copy.

The minimalist design aesthetic has contributed to the brand's modern and sophisticated image.
